Blazegate Boarding Kennels & Cattery
Cattery Text size: Default Size Larger Text Largest Text

The spacious cattery has a pleasant feel for both long and short-term boarders to enjoy. The cattery is built in a horseshoe shape around a central garden area which we have planted with a wide variety of plants to attract birds and butterflies which help to keep the cats amused and interested. The design means that it feels quite secluded and peaceful inside the cattery which many cats appreciate. The cattery has been designed to exceed Feline Advisory Board (FAB) recommendations and we are continually striving to improve the cattery in response to customers' needs.

The chalets are designed with inside quarters for eating and sleeping and an outside run, complete with sunbathing shelf and scratch post. We provide beds with “Vetbedİ” bedding so your cat is warm and cosy during his stay but you can bring your own bedding for your cat if you wish. The chalet sizes are generous, each chalet is individually heated and can accommodate up to three cats with ease. We provide a range of complete and tinned foods for your cat to suit their individual likes and dislikes and cater for cats from all age ranges. Cats are provided with fresh water at all times.

All cats require proof of up-to-date vaccinations for feline panleucopaenia (infectious enteritis), feline viral rhinotracheitis and feline calicivirus (Cat flu). We carry full pet insurance and aim to care for your cat as we do our own. We are happy to board cats with chronic conditions who are on medication, please ring to discuss your cat's particular needs with us. With any pet in our care, if we think it requires veterinary attention then we will ensure that we take it to a vet as soon as possible. This will ideally be your own vet, but if this is not possible, then we will use our local vet.

Boarding rates:

Single Cat £5.50
Two Cats Sharing £9.00

As well as boarding cats, we also work with the Lincs East Branch of the RSPCA and if you are looking to adopt a cat, then have a look at our RSPCA page for a list of cats currently looking for new homes.

East Lincs RSPCA

As one of the major re-homing centres in south Lincs. we work closely with the re-homing staff of East Lincs. Branch to ensure that the animals which come come into our care are found loving and permanent new homes.

We normally have up to 26 cats and six dogs available for adoption at any one time. See the adoption list for animals currently awaiting new homes.

All types of dogs and cats come into the kennels for re-homing. Most animals come up for adoption through changes in domestic circumstances and all assessed for health and temperament whilst in our care. Most cats are domestics and most dogs are cross breeds although we sometimes have some pure bred pets for re-homing.

If you would like to consider re-homing a pet from the RSPCA in the South Lincs area, please contact Gill Flowers - Re-homing Coordinator on Tel: 01205 319059

Please call between 09:30am and 12:30pm Monday to Friday. The lines are often busy so please be patient.
